Major international company in Birmingham is seeking an JAPANESE SPEAKING TECHNICAL SERVICE AND SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join their Autmotive Department. Salary £20k + excellent benefits! This is a one year fixed term contract and after a successful initial year there will be a good chance the role will be offered on a permanent basis.

Accountabilities:

- Technical service provision to strategic accounts as defined in the Profit Plan.

- Development and sales of new profitable automotive business.

- Control the selling expenses and working capital (DSO, finished goods inventory).

- Support field service and lab based colleagues.

- Application experience and colour adjustment ability.

- Technically current within the automotive plastics and coatings industries.

- Act in accordance with sales management direction and his/her individual and specific accountabilities.

- Responsible for maintaining and promoting a positive and professional image of company's expertise in the coatings field and its ability to respond effectively to Customer's needs.

- Self development through learning and development to ensure business continuation.

- Comply with company policies.

Profile:

Sales skills
- Travel required 90% mainly UK Midlands plus some affiliate visits.
- Technically current with automotive coatings
- High technical support/selling skills background.
- Knowledge of other product lines.
- Knowledge of OEM Customers
- Communication & Presentation Skills.
- Knowledge of different European languages is advantageous but not essential.
- Mobility required.
- Driving license essential.
