Company

A Chinese company that has been successfully trading in the Far East who have recently opened a new office in London. They have a strong presence in the Metallic Souvenirs industry on an international scale and have recently won an important contract for the UK.


The Role

You will be responsible for sales into UK retailers and will be a key player in the successful launch of new products. The company has the sole rights for this product, which is linked to major sporting events and is looking to successfully sell into UK retailers and to establish successful relationships.
You will be in charge of pricing products and to negotiate contracts with the clients.
Going forward, with increasing sales, you will be managing a sales team throughout the UK.

The Person

They are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who has experience in the Souvenir industry. You will have experience working with major UK retailers and ideally have existing contacts within the industry. They are looking for someone who can bring a lot of expertise and knowledge of the UK market to the company. This role suits an experienced Sales Manager who is looking for a new challenge, who wants to help a new company in the UK market to develop and establish a strong market share with an exciting product.
As you will have to liaise with the head office in China on a regular basis it would be of advantage that you speak Mandarin, however this is not mandatory.
