Corinium Language Associates is a company that provides language services to other businesses, specialising in multilingual recruitment. We work with clients from a wide range of industries located throughout the country.

Our client is a leading provider of retailer-integrated e-commerce in the US. They drive the online shopping and order fulfillment processes for over 400 consumer brands, working with a large network of retailers. Having set up their European operation in Swindon, they are now looking to expand and in doing so are looking to add Software Engineers to their team.

Our client is looking for an individual with software development experience and a strong knowledge of PHP to join their team. The engineering team is responsible for architecting, developing and deploying a complex e-commerce and logistics fulfillment infrastructure containing thousands of products for leading brands in over 20 industries.

Responsibilities include working in the development team to interpret business requirements and translate into technical designs meeting customer specifications; to design and develop software solutions using PHP, JavaScript, AJAX and SQL; to conduct periodic SQL code reviews with the development team; and to identify and proactively address problems and potential risks and implement timely solutions.

You will have a BSc degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience, and proven experience in software design, including web based database application. You will be able to demonstrate technical knowledge of C++, JavaScript, Oracle/MySQL PL*SQL and HTML. You will have experience with Linux/Unix and scripting/data manipulation tools and preferably PHP scripting experience.
