Job Description

Our client, a pan-European business to business technology provider for the hospitality industry based in Waterloo are looking to recruit an German speaking Customer service Rep for their growing service desk.


Job overview
The Multilingual Service Centre Agent will provide customer service, operational administration and sales support for our emerging European markets with a focus on Spanish, French and Dutch clients. You will have a passion for customer service and will deliver against both sales and service targets. This role sits at the heart of our company and has a significant impact on our performance.

Hours are 5 days a week (9-6), with one Saturday required once a month.

Key objectives
-Improve the speed and quality of registering a new customers on the system
-Increase the available “promotional” inventory
-Increase number of clients that are charged a recurring fee
-Manage the reputation of the company with our customers

Responsibilities
-Provide telephone support for customer queries, advice and troubleshooting
-Accurate and timely registration of new restaurant contracts and descriptions / photos on our systems
-Send introductory instructions to new clients and to new booking partners
- “Up-sell” additional services to increase our recurring fees
-Maximise the number of customers that use our Booking Interface on their website
-Ensure that reservations are successfully acknowledged by our network of clients
-Increase the number of special offers provided by our clients
-Assisting our sales team with marketing support



Required skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in
-Telephone based B2B customer service experience
-Servicing clients that use technology or an internet based product (desirable)
-Working with clients from an international perspective (desirable)
-Working with Salesforce (desirable)

Required skills / education
-Fully computer literate (essential)
-Fluent written English (essential)
-Fluency in 2 or more major European languages. For this role German is essential as if English. Any others will be a benefit (Spanish, French, Dutch, and/or Italian) (essential)
