The Role

Bloomberg needs outstanding individuals to add to its department within the Bloomberg Global Analytics Desk. Successful candidates will have proven expertise in at least one asset class and will use their extensive experience of the financial markets to address client questions on the Bloomberg Professional Service on a daily basis.

Your expertise and experience will also be an invaluable resource for your colleagues in the Analytics team.

Responsibilities

- Addressing client questions regarding the analytics available on the Bloomberg Professional Service.
- Acting as a point of escalation for colleagues dealing with more complex questions.
- Training new members of the team.
- Running client training seminars in-house.
- Regular on-site client visits.

Qualifications

* Proven experience and/or knowledge of the Financial Markets.
* Specialised knowledge of at least one asset class, though experience of multiple asset classes would be advantageous.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressure.
* Attention to detail with strong problem solving & customer service skills.
* Strong knowledge of Bloomberg Professional Service an advantage.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* Post-graduate or Professional Financial Qualifications (i.e. CFA) preferred but not essential.
* Written and spoken fluency in one or more foreign languages is a plus.
