Job Description
An exciting opportunity has risen within our company for proactive, dedicated and enthusiastic team player. We are currently recruiting for a German PR Manager to join our team in Department of Public Relations.
A leading developer in the field of Software Utilities, our products greatly enhance networks and system performance and are currently used by many top corporations and government agencies.
This position is permanent and full time.
Base Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 a year (depending on experience and necessary skills).
Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
Languages: you must have an excellent command of English and be fluent in German.
Work within the Marketing Team to develop, implement and evaluate longer term and project specific PR & Marketing strategies and plans.
Identifying opportunities to use the news agenda to raise awareness of Diskeeper Corporations products.
Specific Brief Responsibilities
• Writing and issuing press releases, features, opinion pieces, letters to editors and other written materials.
• Organising press conferences and briefings.
• Working with Diskeeper Corporations Opinion Leaders to generate media coverage.
• Dealing with daily media enquiries, travelling nationally and internationally as required.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
• working with internal and external contacts to develop media strategies, and securing effective media coverage.
• writing news, feature and opinion media materials to tight deadlines.
• developing productive working relationships with national and international media or other contacts.
You will be confident user of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook), have an eye for detail and be able to work on your own initiative as well as the ability to work as part of a team, strong self-motivation and great communicator.

Full and comprehensive product and position training will be given with ongoing support.
You will be able to work on your own initiative, have proactive attitude and good attention to detail. 40 hours per week – 8.30am to 5.30pm (1 hour for lunch). Please note there is a staff training regime for all new members of staff and for 4 days a week you will be expected to stay later than this schedule until you are fully trained for your position.
