Responsibilities

Ensure sales and profitability targets are achieved.
Commercial spearhead to optimize activities and achieve sales growth in current key markets which are France and Benelux
Manage and develop the portfolio of well-known private label brands building on strong market shares.
Develop relationships at National Accounts to increase business potential. Have the ability to present complex ranges and to negotiate at senior level.
Establish new National Accounts in other European countries. Work with Marketing to establish promotional programs, develop marketing communications, devise product mix strategies and use market research effectively. Make Category Management recommendations to increase market penetration across the UK.
Determine pricing and packaging by cost, volume and competitor review. Manage finished goods and printed raw material stock holding levels for own label brands and take responsibility for forecasting.
Gather market intelligence to encompass total market size, market shares, growth opportunities etc and make market assessments.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing distribution channels, sales, marketing, and support services in relationship to our capabilities and our competitors’ position.
Prepare a monthly management report for Sales & Marketing Director.

Profile

New Business Hunter
Proven track record of business growth in FMCG in DIY/supermarket/stationary/wholesale channels is desirable
Experience of household chemical products in a DIY or Grocery channel environment is preferable
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Highly motivated, driven and determined
Creative
Forward Planner
French speaking + other language desirable
