Who You Are:
This role primarily drives and supports sales for Getty Images Media Management services across Europe. The position is responsible for generating new business plus building and maintaining ongoing customer relationships with assigned accounts.
The Account Manager will work in conjunction with the Sales Support Engineers to become an expert on the client's business and ensuring that the individual accounts run smoothly from a technical and administrative perspective.
The Account Manger places and/or receives telephone calls and email communication to handle all aspects of day-to-day service to accounts, including training, best practices expertise, project management, and troubleshooting; and uses our computerized system for entering and tracking bugs and feature requests, information gathering, and billing.
He or she will require knowledge of our customers, Getty Images products and services, computerized data entry systems, and other relevant applications.
The Account Manager is responsible for client retention and a team sales target, and they may assist in development and negotiation of supplemental services such as production services, feature enhancements, and other incremental revenue opportunities.
The role requires proven sales skills with significant technical product expertise and creative thinking / problem solving skills, along with experience managing time scales, communicating milestones, working to plan, and achieving results.
Your Next Challenge:
* Manage the sales and implementation of on-line digital asset management systems.
* Account manage clients maintaining service level agreements and driving revenue through strategic business development and relationship management.
* Extract key information to understand client business requirements, workflow and pain points. Forecast and analyze sales metrics providing solutions to deliver against targets and objectives.
* Proactively manages revenue pipeline by over delivering on sales to achieve targets.
* Develop a close working relationship with client, both at the executive sponsor level and with day to day administrative users. Provide guidance on best practices - oversee client projects where necessary and create opportunities to introduce additional or special services.
* Troubleshooting - report and track system issues and feature requests; liaise with development team and product managers through established channels; report status and resolution to clients.
* Consistently review the assigned account base to look for new revenue opportunities and make necessary recommendations and changes where necessary that may result in increased account activity; be aware of contract status and renewal timelines.
* Responsible for understanding the entire Getty product suite (company products, creative services, new technologies) and identifying opportunities to partner with other areas of the business; work cross-departmentally to achieve goals.
* Monitor utilization of the product; provide reporting and trend activity feedback to demonstrate value; proactively seek to embed the product within the client business areas and expand usage organically.
* Train and communicate new features and product changes.
* Support pre-sales activity as and when required. Provide subject matter expertise; guidance on potential solutions.
What You'll Need:
* Extensive experience in an account management role, preferably within an Internet Services and/or hosted application environment.
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required for this position clients.
* Demonstrable experience of client facing relationships, including the ability to train online or in person.
* Knowledge of relational database and web technologies required: experience with digital asset management (DAM), content management (CM), or marketing resource management (MRM) technology preferred.
* Knowledge of corporate marketing business units (and associated issues and processes) are highly desirable.
* Knowledge of photography, photo editing and photo captioning software tools are also desirable.
* Proven sales skills to generate new business, close sale and offer exemplary customer service. Basic project management skills.
* High level of computer literacy and skill in web technologies, metadata modelling, MS Office (Excel especially), Photoshop.
* Relationship Building: able to build rapport with client contacts. Understand their business direction; understand medium to long term goals in the area of digital asset management.
* Team player: Work collaboratively with sales & internal colleagues.
* Experience delivering for-fee technical projects.
* Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments.
* A proven leader and self-starter.
