Samtext is an international text agency headquartered in Oslo, with subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. We currently employ 35 in-house staff, including a team of 15 at the Norwegian head office. We are a full-service agency, which means that we deliver original text, adaptations, translations, editing, proof-reading and DTP. We also employ copywriters, translators and production designers, and all our offices co-operate very closely.

Samtext UK is relocating its UK office to Winchester. We process a high volume of translations between the Nordic languages and English, and are looking to recruit the very best Nordic-English and English-Nordic translators with particular expertise in one or more of the following areas: finance, marketing or technical translation.

While a good level of IT skills, knowledge of CAT tools (particularly Déjà Vu and Trados) and previous translation experience would be an advantage, we are first and foremost looking for translators who take a genuine pride in creating the perfect text, every time.
