German speaking Audio Typist

Our client is one of the world\'s leading patent translation and search companies

Role: German-speaking Audio Typist

Function of department
·Translator translates onto a digital voice file
·German Audio Typist types up the translation – mainly into-German texts and possibly into-English texts
·The texts are of a highly technical nature and the candidate will therefore have to be German mother tongue
·Translation is proof-read by proof readers who suggest any corrections
·The translation is passed back to the Translator for approval and he/she makes any other corrections/amendments
·Translation is sent to Word Processing Editors for the amendments to be incorporated and a final print out is produced.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
·23 Audio Typists across the two sites
·You will have to work as part of a team
·Your work will be allocated by a supervisor who is responsible for ensuring it is completed on time
·For the first 2 weeks you will be trained in our Training Room by our in-house trainer
·You will then go into main Typing Room with other typists.


Profile:
·German to mother tongue standard
·Accurate typing skills
·Microsoft Word – intermediate level at least
·Sound basic spelling
