"Calling all German Translators”

Our client, an international communications company are currently recruiting a German Financial Translator to join their dynamic team in their London offices.


The duties involve the translation of financial data (economics, investment banking, asset management and general finance) This is a responsible role involving the quality assurance of the various texts and you will be translating. Excellent writing skills are also necessary as you will communication with key clients and building relationships.

Requirements

You will need to be a qualified translator with German to native level together with fluent English (translations will be from English to German) and have solid experience as a translator and knowledge/experience of the finance sector. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines is necessary whilst remaining calm and focused. You will also be a good team-player, integrate well in a new environment, developing relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds and a self-starter. Good knowledge of software applications such as Trados and MS Office is a prerequisite.
