Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities:
• The promotion and sale of the Company's software products, consultancy and services over the telephone
• The development of sales prospects in the assigned territory through direct phone activity.
• Hitting revenue and activity targets, (including telephone targets).
• The prospective candidate will provide service to the Company's existing customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships and increase penetration of these accounts.
• Responsible for normal territory management activities which include: maintaining the common customer database, call reports, market data collection, promotion of support plan and beta test participation, other reports and forecasts as deemed by the Sales Manager.
• Liaising with marketing, training, consultancy, administration, technical and development departments when required.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: ideally 1+ year of technical sales or a track record of accomplishment in non-technical business to business sales, or a strong desire to enter the IT Sales sector.
• Business Fluency in German essential.
• A second European language (French) an advantage but not essential.
• Skills: Excellent telephone skills, sales awareness, strong sales approach, IT literacy and excellent customer services skills. Good time management and prioritization skills are essential.
• Technical Confidence: Must demonstrate ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and have confidence with technology and software.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn is vital. Understanding and experience with MS Office.
• The prospective candidate must possess initiative, be self-sufficient, relish a challenge and be able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Hungry for success, they should be able to demonstrate previous achievements and over-achievements, and how they were able to reach these.
• Previous knowledge and ability to use a CRM system preferred but not essential.
Salary:
The salary for this role will be between £35 000and £45 000 + benefit with an OTE of additional £35 000 to £45 000.
