Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and team-focused individual to join the 1st line support face of the Business Systems function. Halfords Service Desk will be providing a 1st level IT support service to the whole of the business covering over 445 retail outlets, 3 distribution centres, Head Office desktop support and remote users in the UK. You will also support our retail outlets in the Czech Republic.
As an analyst you will manage first level call handling from internal customers via telephone and email, involving accurate incident logging, initial investigation and incident resolution on both hardware and software, call management and escalation; monitoring all incidents to ensure they are resolved within the agreed service levels.
You will be fluent in both English and Czech languages (spoken and written), enjoy helping people, be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and be a good team player.
You will, ideally, have experience of supporting retail solutions, desktops and networks in a helpdesk environment and also have good analytical and problem solving skills.
Coverage is provided via a shift pattern covering 364 days per year and currently includes working 2 weekends in 4. This pattern is under review and may change to meet business requirements.
Own transport is required, as the location is not easily accessed by public transport over the shift pattern.
