The Role

Bloomberg Tradebook Europe LTD is looking to strengthen its Electronic Trading Research & Strategy group with a Foreign Exchange application specialist. Candidates should possess a deep body of knowledge and experience in the Foreign Exchange Markets. Primary responsibility is implementation of sales strategy of the electronic FX trading platform by:

* Thoroughly understanding and being able to effectively communicate the value propositions of the platform's trading analytics, algorithms and strategy;
* Supporting sales and development people in client sales meetings;
* Educating clients and salespeople by presenting at local, regional and internal seminars;
* Providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers on product enhancements including assisting in the strategy, design and development of new FX spot and forward trading algorithms applications and trading analytics.

The candidate will work as part of a highly motivated energetic team with a high level of autonomy and must be able to manage a great deal of responsibility.

Qualifications

* Considerable experience in the financial industry
* Solid understanding of Financial Markets and Industry Practices
* Prior experience as a FX trader is desirable
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Understanding of the challenges in FX execution and the creativity to think about value-added solutions
* Fluency in a language other than English is a plus but not a pre-requisite.
