Senior Web Designer - £35k -£50k – Interactive Design Consultancy – East London

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Web Designer to join a specialist interactive design consultancy.

You must be able to demonstrate your knowledge of Information Architecture at interview stage, so please only apply if you have this knowledge.

You must be innovative and be able to help design client sites that weave structure, visual language, ease of use and accessibility to all audiences into meaningful solutions.
You will be the type of person that can look at an idea and think of how you\'d make it better – They want you to add value!

The ideal candidate will be:
•A quality thinker who can deliver equally as well.

•You don\'t need coding skills, but an appreciation of the development implications of your work is essential as you will be working alongside developers.

•You need brand sensitivity, an awareness of the impact of architecture and visual language on each other and the end customer, and an appreciation of market trends and accessibility requirements.

•You must have extensive experience of working on quality sites (a profile of the sites you have worked on will be asked for), and you will be responsible, organised and self-sufficient.

•Able to work on final designs


Technology:
•MAC user

•Need to have an understanding of coding & CSS Layouts (you don\'t need to code, but must be able to understand the process)

•Need to understand the implications of designing for accessible websites

•Advanced in Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator

•Wireframes & sitemapping. They use Omnigraffle so this is preferred.

•Solid Understanding of Information Architecture.
