Company: Our client is one of the worlds leading technology companies. With offices worldwide and customers in over 60 countries they are a global leader in their field. They are currently expanding their European IT & Customer operations centre in Cork and are looking to hire a high-level IT Engineer & Manager to run their operation.

Role: This is a very hands-on role where you report into the senior European management team on all technology issues affecting their European centre. In addition to responsibility for the European operations centre you will also control the remote offices, implement regional projects, align and standardize global IT policies and practices and manage the day-to-day IT issues in an IT manager role.

Skills: The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years experience, fluent German and English, detailed Microsoft experience, TCP/IP and Networking experience, Linux (Solaris), and solid hands-on technical support knowledge. Additional experience in one of the following area is mandatory: operating systems, email/groupware, IT-security, programming/developing or Network-administration.
