An opportunity has arisen for a new PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR at Alden Translations. This is a critical role since you will be representing Alden Translations to customers on a daily basis.

As a fluent Enlgish speaker, possessing at least one other Foreign Language skill, you will be working within a vibrant organisation.

You will also have to work closely with the rest of the department and our freelance translators to ensure that jobs are delivered on time and meet the high standards that we and our customers expect.

The Role:

Your duties will include:

- Managing translation projects while providing excellent customer service through full awareness of customer requirements;
- Ensuring that the correct translators are selected for each job to ensure utmost quality;
- Proof-reading all translations thoroughly in compliance with our ISO accreditation;
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with your customers and translators, dealing with problems and queries in a prompt and efficient manner;
- Working closely with the rest of the team to create effective cover and develop client accounts on a dayto-day basis.

The Person:

- Possessing a degree in either Translations or Interpretation highly benficial
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred;
- Good communication and multi-tasking skills as well as the ability to work under pressure are essential for this position;
- A responsible and independent working attitude is also imperative;
- Knowledge of at least one foreign language in addition to your mother tongue is preferred;
- The successful applicant must be fully conversant with all MS Office packages;
- Experience in DTP packages such as Quark or PageMaker would be a real advantage as well as
knowledge of CAT Tools;

You may be required to work outside regular office hours when the workload requires it. Full induction and training will be given. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
