Role: In-house technical Translator – Norwegian
My client requires an experienced In-house Norwegian Translator to join their Scandinavian team. You will be required to provide high quality technical translations from English or German into your mother tongue Norwegian, however priority is English to Norwegian.
Profile:
·Fluent in Norwegian and English (or German and Norwegian)
·Qualified to degree level in modern languages or engineering (ideally automotive engineering).
·Ability to work in teams as well as independently.
·A proven track record of working as a technical translator in specialist, ideally in the automotive industry, with German and/or English as a source language.
·Familiarity with Word processing techniques and reasonable keyboard skills. Ideally experience in working with translation/terminology tools (e.g. Trados) as well as working in a network environment.
·Excellent attention to detail.
·The ability to assimilate technical information and be able to communicate this knowledge in good written style. Technical writing experience useful.
