Senior Manager Technology Services - Ireland
The Technology Services Senior Manager is the senior I.S. representative in Ireland responsible for all aspects of Information Technology and Support Services including technology planning, hardware, software and services procurement, program planning, project delivery, service delivery, security administration and helpdesk services. The I.S. Technology Services Senior Manager works with the I.S. Site Leader, senior business and other I.S. leaders to assess business needs and plan, organize and deliver infrastructure solutions which meet local needs and capitalize on the strengths of the combined I.S. organization and implement corporate I.S. governance policies.
Areas of Responsibility:
Unit planning / Organization:
Develop site-based infrastructure plan and internal expense budget aligned with business objectives and I.S. strategies.
Develop an effective Technology Services organization and work environment for Technology Services staff.
Financial Management:
Develop an annual infrastructure budget (expense and recovery).
Manage expense levels in line with corporate standards (zero tolerance for exceeding budget).
Architecture
Ensure appropriate compliance and implement the target state architecture.
Major Project Delivery / Control:
Approve and manage internal technology specific projects as well as infrastructure components of all business projects.
Ensure optimal business value from all I.T. investments.
Operational Service Management:
Ensure that key technology infrastructure and support services meet business defined service levels.
Resource Management:
Review and approve resourcing plans for Technology Services staff in terms of sustainable staff complement (staff vs. contract ratios) and professional development.
Ensure optimal staff allocation and utilization (billable ratios)
Review compensation-related recommendations with AVP, CT and CIO as required.
Lead and develop the Technology Services management team.
Risk Management:
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for CLE and CLI and architect solutions to ensure system availability.
Ensure the security, availability and continuity of essential platform services.
Management Reporting:
Contribute infrastructure components to the overall monthly management and service reporting for the Ireland I.S. site.

LIFE, PMS6000, Crest CRM, Filenet Imaging , Aurora and Borealis, CCV Commissions, Omniquote, Combined Quotes, Projections, Prophet, MIS and APE, CAMRA
