Senior Consultant – Strategy Planner (market research agency)
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
Location: West London
One of the longest established market research companies in Britain are looking for a Senior Consultant (Strategy Planner) to join their very exciting business unit (Consultancy). The consulting team works with many different exciting clients from various sectors including FMCG, travel, pharmaceuticals, banking etc. both in the UK and internationally often in collaboration with other consultancies and agencies or other partners. While already very strong in the consumer insight field, the consulting unit is seeking to boost its offering in terms of strategic planning, seen as key factor of differentiation. This is a very consultative role hence we are looking for an experienced research professional ready to take on additional challenges.
Ideal Candidate:
A degree or equivalent qualification. (Business administration, marketing/ market research, communication etc. would be ideal).
Experience as an Account Planner (Advertising agencies) or in strategy consulting is mandatory.
You must demonstrate an excellent understanding of business strategy, marketing, advertising and communication issues
Proven track record in the successful planning of integrated campaigns mixing above and below the line media or the design of broad platforms of communication.
Proven people management skills - acting as a role model and a mentor, and should strive to inspire the extended consultancy team.
You must be a competent communicator comfortable with debating complex issues with senior executives in major target organisations.
Proven track record in compiling and delivering (in both written and workshop format) high impact research /consulting projects.
Able to lead confidently the analysis of in house databases, desk research and primary research.
Capable of original and strategic thought you must demonstrate an appetite for customer-centric innovation.
