THE ROLE in a nutshell: a mixture of 3 elements: travel organisation for tour groups, client relationship management and sales.

REQUIREMENTS:
•Fluent French and German
•Superb administration skills
•Sales related experience
•A real interest in classical Music
•Driving licence
DUTIES:
•Responsible for negotiation of competitive rates in accommodation centres and hotels by ‘phone and in person at the European centre
•Sourcing and negotiating competitive rates with local agents and suppliers.
•Paying school deposits and any interim payments from schools for the children\'s accommodation.
•Paying agents and suppliers within deadlines.
•Checking final invoices sent from accommodation centres/hotels.
•Responsible for organising Pre-Tour inspection visits for new exciting European venues.
•Liaison with the schools and the Heads of Music, in planning and organising itineraries for tours.
•Sourcing and booking tour venues
•Sending school orchestra and school choir audition CD\'s/tapes to venues
•Promoting and advertising all concerts locally via agents and in local publications
•Producing posters advertising concerts and supplying agents, venues and tourist information centres.
•Booking excursions
•Ensuring an up to date stock of accommodation and excursion leaflets are kept in stock.
•Arranging local transport for flight groups on arrival in resort, where necessary.
•Organisation of internal educational trips (where relevant)
•Carrying out and logging inspections of accommodation centres/hotel
•Monitoring the quality of suppliers and agents
•Reviewing every feedback form relating to operating area and take remedial action where necessary
•Reporting and logging any action taken to the Head of Operations.
•Responsible for checking each excursion offered to a client is logged and confirmation of its public license is gained.
