Manager, Client Consulting (Market Research) up to £52,000
Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Oxford
The Manager in the Client Consulting unit of a reputable market research agency will develop and manage our clients business & their clients relationships by designing, selling, executing, and presenting market research studies to meet clients research objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
A significant experience in marketing research agency or a related field (client site)
A proven track record of Project Management skills
Knowledge of statistics, research techniques, and experimental procedures
Experience with Experience with our clients services and forecasting models preferred but not essential
Knowledge of marketing research
Knowledge of in-market data
Analytical skills
Consultative skills
Customer service skills
Multi-tasking skills
Oral and written communication skills
Organizational skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Degree: min 2:1 preferred
Experience with another language desired but not essential
Must be willing to work in Oxford
Main Responsibilities:
Prepares client proposals and study designs and estimates costs of projects
Reviews forecasts prepared by junior staff
Reviews the analytical plan and final estimates on sales forecasts
Consults with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns
Approves final client deliverables
Leads client meetings
Pursues new business from existing and potential clients
Meets individual revenue and contribution goals
Manages project workload and delegates work
Trains direct reports on the process flow from study initiation to completion
Supervises direct reports by answering questions, providing constructive and consistent feedback, and conducting performance appraisals in a timely manner
