A small, dynamic language services company based in Harrow-on-the-Hill is urgently seeking a Translation Project Manager. We specialise in the adaptation of marketing material across the EMEA region. Our clients are predominantly IT vendors and include some of the biggest brands on this market. This position would be ideal for someone looking to build a career in the translation/language services industry and play a key part in developing a rapidly growing business.

Your role will revolve around the management of the translation project lifecycle to ensure on-time delivery to high quality standards. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team under constant time pressure and have very strong customer service as well as time and resource management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities will include:
 Supporting all aspects of office and project administration
 Planning, scheduling, monitoring and managing multiple translation projects, including selecting and assigning translation teams, negotiating deadlines and coordinating translation process with translators and proofreaders
 Reviewing, formatting and preparing source documents ready for translation
 Regularly compiling and updating glossaries, extracting terminology from previously translated documents and maintaining translation memories
 Handling questions from translators
 Managing client relationships, working directly with our clients both on the phone and face-to-face
 Ensuring quality processes are adhered to including final checking of translations.

Essential skills:
 Fluency in written and spoken English as well as another European language (preferably Spanish or Italian)
 Translation agency experience
 Excellent communications skills
 Ability to multi-task and prioritise work
 Strong customer service focus
 Attention to detail
 Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred skills:
 IT and/or marketing experience
 Proficiency in Trados (or any other CAT tool)
