Summary:

My client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is currently expanding one of it's major manufacturing sites. As a preferred supplier, I am currently recruiting for experienced Commissioning & Qualification Engineers with 5 years + hands on commissioning of Biopharma process equipment and a proven track record of plant start up from handover from construction at mechanical completion to start-up, commissioning, qualification & handover to site operations.


Key Accountabilities:

- System P&ID walkdown with construction prior to handover. Categorisation of punchlist items & tracking to completion. Acceptance of system at mechanical completion (M/C).

- System owner, method statement, task risk assessment & permit preparation from M/C to handover to site operations.

- Pre-start safety checks, lock out & tag out & ensuring timely loop checking post handover.

- Execution of the system Commissioning Test Plan, Installation & Operation Qualifications, Process
Qualifications (where applicable) following GDP guidelines. Ensure testing can be fully leveraged from CTP to IOQ.

- Ensure non-conformances & deviations are minimised and closed out with Commissioning & Qualification compliance & site QA in a timely fashion.

- Ensuring that punchlist items are documented, tracked, expedited and resolved by system handover to site operations.

- Attend daily communication meetings with area lead and report progress.


Experience:

- A minimum of 5 years experience of hands on commissioning of Biopharma process equipment

- A proven track record of plant start up from handover from construction at mechanical completion to start-up, commissioning, qualification & handover to site operations.

- Commissioning experience in 2 or more of the following bioprocess equipment types:
Fermentors, Microfiltration, UF/DF skids, Buffer & Media Preparation, Buffer Hold, Chromatography skids/columns, Centrifugation skids, CIP skids & distribution.

- Knowledge of Delta V PCS system and EM/Phase control functionality.

- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
