Research Manager (Healthcare Research)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: West London
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of UK’s leading specialist pharmaceutical global market research agencies. The company is an expert in ad-hoc market research, both qualitative and quantitative with particular expertise in brand development research, and are solely active in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Due to the expansion of the UK international business our client is looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced ad-hoc Research Manager who has experience in full project management (from writing part/or full proposal (depending on experience) delivery and client presentation) within the Healthcare sector.
Ideal Candidate:
Essential
A minimum of 4 years experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency of which 2 years should have been at SRE level
Experience of market research and skills in specialised qualitative and quantitative techniques and models.
Strong knowledge of market research methodologies is required
A good understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in the UK or globally
Excellent client handling skills, including the ability to actively listen
Good interpersonal skills, especially negotiation, written and presentation
Skills
Excellent project management and customer service skills
An interest in motivating, developing and coaching people
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience of managing teams and people management
Multiple therapeutic experience is desirable
A scientific or marketing background with an interest in psychology would be useful
Fluency in another modern European language would be desirable
Ability to learn and teach others and explain methodologies and techniques to clients
Main Responsibilities:
To manage multiple qualitative and quantitative, local and international projects and leading and supporting others on the project from proposal to debrief.
Responsible for defining project costs, liaising with suppliers for quotes.
Use a formula to define the project mark-up.
