Job Description
THE JOB:
• Financial Services Risk professional with a senior level of experience within one or more of the following fields – Operational Risk, Marketing Risk, Credit Risk, Finance.
• Strong delivery skills within tight deadlines
• Experienced individual with excellent understanding of complex change initiatives in the global investment banking industry
• Ability to deliver comprehensive roadmaps, business benefit cases, process change system selection and business implementation plans.
• To be fully conversant in end to end project management methodology and best practice
• Experience of front to back programme and project management, business process analysis and re-engineering across the full development life cycle.
• Extensive product and domain knowledge (eg within Credit Risk this would cover cash, listed derivative and securities financing instruments across Operations, Finance and Risk Management)
• Must have excellent understanding of Middle Office / Risk Processing / Finance
• Awareness of all current regulatory changes and market issues
• Experience of all relevant IT systems (eg within Credit Risk experience of using Algorithmics, Summit, SunGuard and Misys systems)
• Exposure to internal (Economic Capital) and regulatory (Basel II) capital calculations and processes preferred.
• Experience change management agent
• Demonstrated business acumen and use to client project benefit
• Experience of building, developing and managing high performance teams

• 10+ years relevant experience as a risk professional
• Leadership experience on subject, preferably published (ie white paper).
