The successful eCommerce Payments Account Manager will be responsible for driving and maximizing Moneybookers’ eCommerce revenues by focusing on account management to companies require an eCommerce payment and/or e-wallet solution to fulfil their online business.

As an eCommerce Payments Account Manager, you will be responsible for business development with both new and existing clients, eCommerce merchants and other internet-related companies. The position is based in Berlin and provides a fantastic opportunity to make your mark with a winning, fast-growing company that is moving to the next stage of its global development.

Responsibilities:
• Account manager for the eCommerce sales team
• Create and drive existing and new business through sales pitches, presentations and sales propositions
• Research on leads and potential merchant customers to be approached
• Grow turnover and increase the size of the customer base by acquiring new merchants directly as well as together with the team
• Manage marketing and referral relationships with new and potential Next Generation Payments customers/partners
• Liaise with marketing and product teams to ensure constant benchmarking and price comparisons
• Organise, attend and represent Next Generation Payments at events and exhibitions tailored to eCommerce/payments

Essential Skills:
• Outstanding experience in proactive account management and delivery
• Detailed knowledge of the eCommerce market and Payment Solution Sales
• A disciplined self-starter, results driven and committed to achieving career recognition and financial reward
• Ability to lead by example and present a professional image
• Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal communication skills
• High Internet affinity along with proficiency in MS Office and SalesForce or similar
• Degree in a business or related field
• Fluent in German and English
