Job Description
The successful candidates will be responsible for new business sales to companies that require and eCommerce payments platform to fulfill their online business. As an eCommerce Payments Sales Executive/ Manager you will be responsible for the German speaking markets.
Together with the team you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads and closing deals with e-commerce merchants and other internet-related companies. For this role you will need to be a sales-driven, customer-focused, enthusiastic and pro-active individual. Tasks also include the management of existing merchants and account management. The positions are based in Berlin and provide a fantastic opportunity to make your mark with a winning, fast-growing company that is moving to the next stage of its global development.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Lead sales building the pitch and developing sales propositions for the various markets served. Lead from the front and generating sales revenues personally the successful candidate will grow turnover and increase the size of the customer base
• Effectively manage new business development to meet sales targets
• Once established, for the right person there will be the opportunity to be responsible for recruiting additional members into the sales team, training, managing and directing them, whilst also continuing to develop key accounts and larger contract opportunities personally
• Manage marketing relationships with new and potential Next Generation Payments customers/partners
• Liaise with marketing and product teams to ensure constant benchmarking and price comparisons
• Organise, attend and represent Next Generation Payments at events and exhibitions tailored to eCommerce/payments
• Instrumental in the development of various sales and marketing initiatives

• Proven experience of eCommerce payment solutions selling
• Outstanding new business sales experience and delivery
• Outstanding relationship building, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Detailed knowledge of the eCommerce market
• High Internet affinity, high self-motivation and strong commitment
• Fluent in German and English
• Process development skills, ability to keep work flowing, minimising problems or delays
• Proficient use of MS Office and Sales Force or similar
