Stock/Materials Controller
Up to £25K– depending on experience
South West London



Our Client, a B2B company, is seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic material Controller.


Responsibilities:
•Maintain stock availability to meet clients demands.
•Report daily all stock shortages
•Manage your inventory in line with targeted stock days
•Ensure rapid reaction and recovery from potential issues
•Identify and report slow-moving product lines
•Manage direct deliveries from your suppliers to caterers in association with Customer Service.
•Manage Quality Control process for your portfolio of products.
•Monitor and report on caterers’ order patterns to ensure compliance with forecast:
-Orders correct against cycle
-Manage your supplier base to ensure performance in line with expectations:
-On time delivery
-Correct product, packing and markings
-Sufficient shelf life
-Correct documentation
•Assist and support team members.
•New Product set up
•Ensure accurate purchase prices maintained.
•Review collect pricing opportunities


The candidate:
•Excellent spoken & written level of English as the position requires substantial amount of interaction with suppliers.
•Good educational achievements
•Buying and materials control background essential.
•Team player essential used to fast paced environment.
•“Think on your feet” mentality due to dynamic environment
•Good analytical skills and great attention to detail.
•Excellent IT skills: substantial use of company ERP software and of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
