A unique opportunity has now arisen for a German Translator to join their team on a contract basis.

In this role you’ll be responsible for translating the company’s products and materials in German. This will involve using localisation tools in order to translate test and adjust layout, ensuring that all assigned work is completed on time and to a high standard.

As a German Translator your duties will include:

- Translating products into German and ensuring they’re suitable for release
- Translating, publishing and maintaining product documentation
- Publishing technical articles in order to provide customers with up-to-date information
- Translating parts of the company website
- Reviewing/proof reading translations carried out by other translators

To be considered for this position you must have experience of translating technical documents from English into German.

Any of the following would be beneficial to your application:

- Translation experience within IT
- Experience of desktop publishing
- Knowledge of translation memory software such as Trados, SDL
