To be considered for this role your skills and qualifications will include:

•Doctorate level degree in epidemiology (or equivalent) or clinical degree (medical, nursing or pharmacy) plus master level of epidemiology (or equivalent)
•5 years of postgraduate experience in epidemiology as reflected in research projects, publications etc.
•2-3 years of industrial experience in the epidemiology support of clinical areas or equivalent
•Computing ability, including knowledge of specialised epidemiological/statistical packages.
•Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Your responsibilities would include:

•Develop, implement and monitor epidemiology and risk management strategy
•Provide timely epidemiological input into regulatory and risk management reports
•Provide timely epidemiological and risk management support to project and product teams and other departments
•Work closely with clinical safety medical function sub department and project and product teams to proactively identify, clarify and resolve safety questions.
•Develop and implement assigned projects and initiatives, in support of departmental, divisional, and company objectives
•Maintain knowledge/expertise of existing large databases/data sources and new/emerging epidemiological methodologies and techniques which may be suitable to conduct epidemiological evaluations.
