Job Description
Job Title: Team Leader/Project Manager - in-house advertising
Skills: The ability to lead. Organised. Experience of print production. Knowledge of German would be ideal but not essential.
Salary: c23k+
Location: South West London
Our client is a leading retailer with premises throughout the UK and offices in SW London.
The main purpose of your role is to:
Create, plan and coordinate creative workflow and to ensure that all work is completed on time to meet tight deadlines. The role involves managing your team to produce a wide variety of print-ready artwork, including leaflets, posters, banners, flyers, logos and much more in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Managing and directing a small team of Mac Operators.
- Liaising with a photography department on a day-to-day basis providing art direction and guidance
- Planning and coordinating your teams weekly workflow.
- Ensuring artwork is of a creative design standard but still within our stringent corporate guidelines.
- Managing your team to produce print-ready artwork by using a variety of professional DTP software including Adobe CS3 and many more.
- Proof reading and signing off artwork.
- Presenting artwork to internal departments and coordinating sign off.
- Preparing artwork for print and approving artwork from printers’ proofs
- Liaising with designers, photographers, buyers and management on a day-to-day basis.
- You will work closely with a second Team Leader and report directly to the Advertising Production Manager.
