As a fluent French speaker, this role will include but not be limited to the following duties;

* Seeking payment of outstanding debts
* Focus on aged debtors
* Chasing of French, Belgium and perhaps other European Customers
* Phone calls to a significant number of accounts in arrears each day
* Solving clients discrepancies / queries with customers
* Reconciliation of customer accounts
* Processing of bankruptcies; lodging claims to liquidators
* Selection of accounts to be passed to debt collection agencies; preparation of relevant supporting data
* Processing all credit applications within the day of receipt
* Analysis of relevant credit reports provided by rating agency
* Seeking authorization as appropriate
* Review of new customers after 45 days; clients placed on hold if no payment received
* Weekly review of on hold list
* Preparation of analysis and statistics on sales ledger eg. Debtor days; ageing profile
* Assistance in the review and resolution of unidentified and unprocessed cash
* Processing of write-offs and adjustments on sales ledger system
* Participation in month end close procedures; AR closed on work day 1 each month
* Well organized and neat filing
* Evaluation of existing processes and make suggestions for improvements
* Ad hoc special projects as assigned


Who we're looking for

It is essential that any applicants speak fluent French as those without, will not be considered for this position.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and industry, have used SAP previously and be studying towards the ICM qualification.
