IT Account Manager UK & Nordic
Salary: £35-40K
Location: South West London
Our client, very successful international IT Company, is looking to appoint an Retail Account Manager UK & Nordic, who will be proactively managing and developing both existing and new retail business within the region.
!!Experience of working as a vendor to DSGi is a major advantage!!!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.To develop company\'s sales for the territory via the retail channel with overall responsibility for the achievement of revenue, net sales and gross profit margin goals in line with company\'s retail strategy. To visit these partners and customers on a regular basis as required.
2.To present and position the company within the accounts and create an account plan to grow and develop revenue, profit and share of business.
3.To work closely with the UK/Nordic/Retail marketing teams to develop account propositions and business proposals that are compelling.
4.To identify and develop new business opportunities for the company within the retail market sector.
5.To work with the company internal sales team to monitor account ordering and pricing and quotations.
6.Weekly monitoring of account sell-out and stock data and action plan to ensure company\'s exposure is minimized.
7.To understand company\'s competition and to identify and take advantage of any business opportunities.
8.To feedback competitive pricing to the company\'s internal sales director and the UK/Nordic/Retail sales teams - Inside Sales and Field Sales.
9.To report to European Retail Director and send monthly status reports summarizing activities and results from the previous month and proposed activities for the following month.
Requirements:
•Strong experience within the consumer electronics or FMCG market place.
•Experience of working within a dynamic fast moving company with aggressive growth targets.
•Experience of managing turnover and margin goals.
•Have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, strong presentation skills, including using Powerpoint.
•Experience of working as a vendor to DSGi is a major advantage.
•Self-motivated
•Able to use own initiative, and be achievement orientated.
•Have the ability to perform under pressure, and have strong time management skills.
•Be able to build effective working relationships both internally and externally, and be able to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within the organisation and retail channel.
•The ability to work within a team.
•Candidate should also have good numeracy skills, be able to use Excel and be computer literate.
