Job description
With support from Senior Business Analysts within Product Design Services, you will gather and analyse client business requirements and design solutions in collaboration with technical, development and QA teams. You will ensure accurate and timely production of documentation, support Senior Business Analysts as part of larger projects and work closely with clients to progress from concept to delivery.
With experience in Financial Services, you should be pro-active and have the ability to operate under your own initiative. Effective problem solving skills, strong oral and written communication/presentation abilities and competency in Microsoft Office and Visio are essential. You should also have the capability to manage priorities in a matrix managed environment and to communicate with both technical/developers and non-technical people.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Essential
- Educated to at least ‘A’ level or equivalent.
- Previous experience in financial services.
Desirable
- Degree in a business related subject with computing or similar, equivalent or relevant experience.
- Previous business analysis experience.
- Working knowledge of Prince 2 and/or UML project methodology.
- Experience of call centre environments.
- Experience of electronic payments environment.
- Experience of Workflow Applications.
- Professional qualification such as the ISEB diploma in business analysis.
Skills
Essential
- Demonstrates the ability to be pro-active and to operate under own initiative.
- Ability to manage priorities in a matrix managed environment.
- Ability to communicate to both technical/developers and non-technical people (external and internal).

- Knowledge of electronic payment processing systems.
- Broad knowledge of IT platforms and technologies.
