Our client, a large online gaming company is currently looking for a Multilingual Affiliate Relationship Manager to start work in their office based in London.
Job Role:
This position is above all a relationship management position. The person will have to take care of existing accounts as well as finding new ones through marketing channels or networking. The person will be responsible to develop its portfolio, get the knowledge of its particular market, and report on its results.
Specific Areas of responsibilities:
Maintaining Affiliate Relationships:
The candidate has to work well with a variety of people and have a strong sense for negotiation and managing accounts to the maximum of return.
Maintaining existing exposure/results is essential.
General knowledge and ability to communicate in different environment is needed.
A customer orientated behavior is necessary.
The marketing tools used would have to be assessed and monitor. Activity will have to be reported on a regular basis.
Finding new Customer / new exposure:
The candidate must be business driven, have a sense for finding new customer, spotting new area and trends.
The person will have to find new channels of potential exposure. The marketing tools used would have to be assessed and monitor. Activity will have to be reported on a regular basis.
A regular market assessment and research is needed to make sure we stay ahead of the competition.
Reporting:
The person will have to be easy with numbers and have basics financials knowledge
Internal team work:
As much as that position requires a lot of personal investment and work, it requires as well a really good team work with other affiliates relationship manager.
Candidate Requirements:
Required Skills:
Must be a Peoples Person
Strong negotiation skills are required
Fluency in English and fluency (written and spoken) in at least 2 of the following languages: Danish, Dutch, Italian, French, German, Spanish, or Swedish
An understanding of the specific country for which that position is open and its norm/tradition/culture (in ideal should have not lived out of his original country for more than 2 years)
Microsoft Office package knowledge
Willingness to travel
Ability to work in a fast growing business environment
Experience of working in a small structure with the flexibility it implies, respect of hierarchy and strategy applied.
Customer orientated.
Previous Sales Experience to have the ability to find new potential customer, developing ideas to increase revenue and acquisition, manage existing accounts and grow them.
Easy adaptation to different personalities and background.
Be able to communicate in a formal and non formal environment.
A good team spirit.
Desired Skills
Internet Business Experience (preferable) not especially in the gaming industry
Experience in managing accounts would be a definite plus
Experience of marketing (degree or professional experience) would be a plus, knowing that the marketing orientation of the company would not be done at that level.
Salary:
Up to £40,000 p/a, depending on experience.
