Human Resources Executive with Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish- 6 Month Fixed Term Contract


Our client is a dynamic, sociable and prestigious multi-national firm based in Slough. They are seeking an experienced HR professional who is fluent in Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish to act as an advisor to various business teams, units, managers etc. This role is to start immediately.


Responsibilities:

Deliver a comprehensive and proactive HR service by delivering generalist HR services for approx 350 staff
Promote the development of an entrepreneurial, service-oriented and performance-driven organisation, with strong values and aligned behaviours
Ensure internal clients are effectively communicated to about all HR initiatives and understand fully their point of contact
Resolve any ad hoc issues within area of responsibility (the successful candidate should preferably have knowledge in liasing, consulting and concluding issues with employee representatives, as well as expert knowledge of UK employment legislation)
Advise line managers on all employee relations issues and bring to conclusion in the most appropriate way
Undertake project work where requested

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

Min 5 years experience in a large organisation, ideally having had responsibility supporting sales and/or Operational business
Good understanding of UK employment law
A consultative style and ability to work with challenging line managers and staff
A business driven, results oriented individual who is highly committed to quality service within the constraints posed by a rapidly changing environment
Flexible, energetic and self motivated (this is not a 9-5:30 job)
Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail & proven to be a completer finisher
Excellent communication and influencing skills – this is key in working with a sales organisation
A wish to gain personal satisfaction from doing the right thing for the business rather than needing to be “liked” all the time
Must be PC literate
Graduate level education with appropriate professional qualification
Knowledge of Peoplesoft advantageous

Salary Up to £27 per hour Immediate start
