Russian Conference Producer
Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
* To research (both desk and phone research, but mainly phone) new and existing conference ideas, assess their feasibility, and write innovative and interesting conference programmes based upon the research conducted
*To invite and confirm high-level speakers to participate in the programmes produced
*To establish strong contacts within the sectors that you work
*To liaise with other departments (Sponsorship and Delegate Sales, Marketing, and Administration) and provide guidance to them on sales and marketing campaigns, as well as event logistics
*To liaise frequently with your Production Supervisor and to ensure continuous communication on event progress
*To write strong sales and marketing copy in a number of different formats throughout the course of an event’s marketing campaign
*To prepare all materials and design briefs for direct mail pieces, including the conference brochure, to strict deadlines, making sure all information is accurate
*To provide guidance to the Production Assistant on correspondence required with speakers and enquirers
*To maintain good (and frequent) contact with speakers confirmed, to ensure their attendance on the day
*To ensure the quality and accuracy of the Conference Documentation
*To ensure the smooth running of the conference on the day introduce and ‘host’ the event, and to try to meet all participants’ needs
Requirements:
*Fluent Russian and English – ideally both excellent written and spoken language
*Strong research and analytical skills
*Team player
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Good computer skills
*Willing/able to travel
Salary between £22000-35000 depending on experience
