Project Manager to work in Insurance Industry.
North London / Hertfordshire boarders
Exciting opportunity to work on a variety of leading projects.
Leading company requires a Project Managers to join the Projects Department. The main focus of this role is to undertake the day-to-day management of a number of business related projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the correct specification. In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:
Producing detailed project plans including identifying cost and risk implications.
Managing the whole life-cycle of numerous projects including identifying, tracking and resolving any project issues, ensuring that solutions are of acceptable quality.
Communicating relevant project information to all stakeholders on a regular basis.
Proactively managing projects to ensure that the agreed scope is delivered and that any changes are implemented though the correct channels.
Managing and monitoring the overall work plan, arranging all appropriate authorisations and ensuring work is assigned and completed on time and within budget, reporting progression at each stage.
Taking responsibility for the administration of the projects undertaken, implementing change controls and any required configuration management.
In order to be successful you must hold a relevant project management qualification and have substantial previous experience of managing numerous projects of varied sizes, together with a good working knowledge of MS Project. You must also be highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload as well as the capability to lead and motivate others. In addition you must also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal together with strong influencing, negotiating and problem solving skills.Although not essential, Six Sigma and insurance industry experience is highly desirable.
