Job Description
The Export Development Assistant will provide sales and administrative support to the Export Manager & Sales Executives. A real challenge in this role is the part you will play in developing the business, particularly using your skills to research and identify new markets and distributors. You will also assist with the smooth running of the overseas distributors network.
Main Objective of the Role
To provide sales & administrative support to Export Sales Executives
Assist in business development particularly with newly identified markets and distributors.
Undertaking systematic market analysis & market research under guidance of Export Manager.
To assist with the smooth running of the Overseas Distributors Network
Key Responsibilities:
Organisation of meetings and events
General correspondence and reports
Taking minutes at various meetings, producing and distributing
Answering e-mails on behalf of Export Sales Executives, with their express agreement.
Producing Excel spreadsheets
Preparing quotations/offers
Sorting and distributing internal and external mail
Making sure documentation is distributed on time to various internal departments.
Correspondence and administrative support for Export Sales Executives.
To be a point of contact for Distributors enquiries
Check accuracy of monthly report from Export Sales Executives for Board Meeting
Using Cognos Powerplay software produce and distribute Sector Sales Analysis
Using Cognos Powerplay software to produce analysis on Export sales when requested
Assist with maintaining Distributors relations and Projects
To cover Export Marketing Assistant role during times of absence
Assist with resourcing and inducting new Distributors
Possible short overseas trips/visits
Assist with CRM system input & analysis.
Particular support to France and French speaking markets
Market Analysis & Research
Use ready-made methods, processes, and resources to contribute to country & region profiles
Explore multiple sources for market information and lead generation
Education & Qualifications
Fluent in French
Computer literate
Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint or equivalent
Essential Experience
Previous (export) sales experience.
Analysis & and presentation
