Job Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a French Sales / Account Manager to join a leading, international engineering firm at their County Antrim facility.
Applicants must be fluent in French, possess strong English and educated to Degree level in an engineering or related discipline. This should be coupled with previous customer support / customer facing experience.
As part as the customer-supplier relationship, the person will be the main contact for the different customer departments and he will manage the requests issued by the customers to the alternator division. With the support of the factories, the person will have to protect the interests in the case of future developments and contentious issues with the customer.
Additional duties will include;
To deal with quality notifications on site: imperfection of the rejected parts, contact with the production line operators, protect LS interests
To inform precisely the LS quality department about the notifications and the assess the issue importance level
To organize a logistic and relation support during visits in the customer premises
To order replacement parts and to plan return of the defective parts
To communicate with the quality departments of the different manufacturing plants
To participate in continuous improvement work groups with the customer
To identify potential risks of notifications on LS products
Technical assistance of the customer with support of the LS engineering office
To follow the design modifications requested by the customer and LS
To create and follow the validations on new gensets packages
To inform precisely the LS engineering office on the customer developments and identify the needs of technical support on LS products
To apply the clauses of the customer/supplier contract
To participe in the meeting preparations and official LS presentations
To quote new products
To inform the different manufacturing plants of possible work load variations
To update the internet web site (maintenance manuals, price and spare parts lists)
To resolve stock entry issues for spare parts and finished products
To participate in the working groups on supply chain improvements
