French and German Speaking Customer Service Representative
Location: Gloucestershire
Our client is a global leader who is currently looking for a French and German Customer Service Representative based in Gloucestershire.
The Role
The successful candidate will be required to Provide timely and efficient solutions for our clients customers by offering a service that is perceived by our clients customers as world class as well as:
• Respond and process requests from customers, and account managers: respond to a variety of incoming calls from customers, key account and account managers. Process customer orders, quotations, requests for samples and literature into the business system. Understand customers' terms and conditions and ensure that contracts are properly accepted. Expedite customer orders as required. Coordinate with logistics teams and internal suppliers to ensure on-time shipments. Prepare change notices and enter quality complaints
• Develop relationships with existing customers by promoting our clients products and services: know and understand assigned account buying behaviour. Know key contacts with assigned accounts. Understand relationships that connect and differentiate OEM, CEM accounts. Anticipate customer needs. Understand customer industry and competitive environment. Provide forecast information as needed. Use business systems to coordinate account information. Work closely with the Strategic Business Units, account managers and sales management to ensure proper price breaks are provided to our clients customers
• Calls prospects and customers proactively to increase and develop business opportunities: Follow-up on requests for samples and ensure they meet the application requirements. Follow-up on quotations and requests for handbooks. Review customer ordering history to solicit new orders, for price advantages and for following-up on lost business. Document all activities and opportunities in Prevail. Follow-through on projects to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide technical assistance: promote products and services, including eService and technical information to customers and offer applicable product and application solutions. Provide alternative product advice if necessary
• Provide support to the Global Sales Force, Marketing and Business Management Teams: support strategic Marketing and Sales projects including phone follow-up. Help to coordinate external and internal activities
Candidate Requirements
• Customer Service experience, preferably in multi-national organisation
• Degree Level Education or equivalent preferred
• Fluency in English, French and German
• Excellent telephone and verbal skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Enthusiastic, confident and mature
• Team-oriented, people oriented, relationship builder
• Show propensity for influencing others
• Technical aptitude required
• Mentally tough
• Reliable, with a resilient nature
• Ability to thrive in a fast pace work environment and handle multiple tasks
• Goal oriented, ambitious, extremely motivate
Benefits
Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 per annum
In addition there is a performance bonus of 10% which is paid out of the following year in February. There is also private health and dental packages, Life Assurance and a Pension Scheme after the probation period.
