an Editor – Modern Languages
(Maternity cover - 9 month contract)

We are looking for an editor with commitment and flair to join the Secondary MFL team working on our fast-growing and forward-looking schoolbooks list.

As editor you will be responsible for developing and project managing modern languages courses and individual titles, including both print and digital resources, for UK Secondary schools. The role requires strong organizational and project management skills, an ability to maintain and administer internal editorial systems, and an appreciation of the needs of teachers and learners.

In addition, the successful candidate should have:

* previous editorial experience in schoolbook publishing
* a degree in French and/or Spanish
* familiarity with practice in schools
* familiarity with multi-media products and the Internet.
