Job Description
My client, an international media company based in West London, is currently seeking a TV Planning and Implementation Manager to work within its Sales Strategy Department.
A challenging and varied role which involves some travel across Europe. It would suit candidates with experience in a TV Planning Department in a Managerial role.
Fluency in Scandinavian or Eastern European language an advantage
Heavily involved with the Sales Department; reviewing, suggesting, developing, enhancing and ensuring maximum revenue from advertising in each of the countries
Responsibilities
- Liaising with countries across Europe and achieving an excellent working knowledge of the different structures and processes used in each individual country
- Setting up good working relations with each countries' Airtime Administration staff
- Advising and assisting countries in Airtime Planning optimisation and organising working groups involved in Airtime Planning and Administration tasks
- Supporting recruitment of Heads of Planning department for individual countries where necessary
- Facilitating countries in establishing new Airtime Planning and Traffic departments
- Organising links with booking system suppliers and related suppliers
- For booking system output- creating and evaluating reports in MS Excel
- Various other ad hoc duties where necessary
This is a permanent position paying up to £35000 per annum. It will be London based however some travel with be required across Europe.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in a TV Planning department ( and at least 1 year in a management role)
- Strong problem solving, communication, IT and numeracy skills
- A strong team player, with the ability to lead a team when necessary
- Commercially aware, self-motivated with a positive approach
- Fluency in any Scandinavian or Eastern European language a bonus
