Linguist Monitors

Xtreme Information is a global advertising monitoring service working closely with large multi-national clients, advertising houses and international publishing and broadcasting bodies.

Based at our offices in Earl Grey House in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, we are looking to recruit full-time Linguist Monitors to form part of a large team. The team is responsible for the timely and accurate retrieval and input of advertising information from newspapers, magazines and television channels using bespoke applications.

The positions involve:

- Entering specific information onto a customised database
- Some translation work as required
- Working as part of a large team to ensure all processing deadlines are met
- Assisting with Quality Control

Skill requirements:

- educated to minimum of ‘A’ Level standard or equivalent
- keen eye for detail
- fluency in FRENCH, GERMAN or ITALIAN languages (Any one of these languages is fine, but fluency in more than one is preferred)
- an excellent command of written English
- ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- good keyboard / typing skills
- ability to work alone and as part of a large team

Salary £12k to £12.5k per annum
