Responsible for providing treasury back office services covering two or more of the following customers: Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Shell Brands.

Cash forecasting and variance analysis
Bank Statement processing
Payment file authorisation and monitoring
Managing failed payments
Suspense account management
Follow-up on any open items
Daily and monthly reconciliations
Investigation work
Managing in-house and customer queries
Monthly and quarterly reporting

Comfortable with the requirement to apply documented controls consistently

Very good understanding of performing processes within a controlled environment
Good all-round accounting knowledge, ideally with experience of AR and AP
Previous experience of TBO activities and JDE is NOT a pre-requisite as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn.

Any Additional Info

Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese would be a distinct advantage but is not a definite requirement.
Due to the nature of the tasks performed by TBO it is preferable that applicants can be flexible in terms of their working patterns. It may be required for the role holder to work 7-3 or 8-4, rather than 9-5.
