The Group Operations Manager will have ultimate responsibility for the operational strategy of the company and the smooth running of the office operations, ensuring that all of the companys short and long term goals are met through successful liaison with the Managing Director. Success in this field will provide options to fund projects or investments for future growth.
You must ensure that all team members buy into the culture of the company, and are trained efficiently both on new systems introduced and on the provision of an exceptional standard of customer care.
This is an ideal role for a trustworthy, talented and enterprising professional eager to take on a highly responsible and challenging strategic role with a focus on finance within a fast expanding organisation.
The Operations Manager must have:
at least 3 years' experience in a fast paced office environment
strong negotiation skills
a smart and professional business manner
a world - class customer care ethos
excellent communication, organisation and people management skills
natural problem-solving skills
high stamina to effectively operate in a fast environment
attention to detail
Other preferable skills:
At least 1 language preferably European
Sage Line 50
Ideally you will have earned a degree (preferably 2:1) from a first class university and must be well travelled.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Ensuring the 3 year vision is made a reality
Maintaining and ensuring the delivery of the the Groups world-class customer care ethos
Ensuring prudent cash flow management
Foreign Currency Management (ensuring advantageous procurement of foreign currency).
Contracting European and British Hotels.
Contracting suppliers e.g. Disneyland Paris, Eurotunnel, P&O Ferries etc.
Regular liaison with external company accountants.
Taking full responsibility for the recruitment process by ensuring its constant improvement and ensuring the correct selection of new key members for the team.
