German speaking Sales Administrator

Our client, a multinational company based in Central London is seeking a German speaking Export Sales Administrator to join its successful team. The main purpose of the role is to ensure efficient and effective execution of sales contracts in designated markets in order to provide a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Ordering raw materials on a timely basis to correct specification
- Organising transportation and preparing necessary export documentation
- Processing customer orders, entering product movement details into the inventory system and invoicing
- Monitor customer accounts and orders to ensure that they remain within agreed credit limits
- Assist with arranging appropriate levels of credit insurance cover for customers
- Monitoring and liaising with distributors to ensure that all contractual commitments are met
- Coordinate the production activities of 3rd party processors and monitor stock levels to ensure that sales remain within supply capacity
- Review month end stock reports and update the Inventory/Sales system
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of shipping terms and documentary credits

Candidate requirements:
- Fluent in English with German
- Experience of Export Sales Administration
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Excel and SAP would be an advantage
- Knowledge of European VAT regulations would also be an advantage
