DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

Our global brands including ANDREX, KLEENEX and HUGGIES are sold in more than 150 countries. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Brighton.
As part of the Pricing to Cash team, you will help to maximise sales by actively managing risk for a specific range of customers, whilst minimising overdue payments. You will pro-actively contact customers to ensure invoices are paid to agreed terms as well as pursue overdue monies. You will manage the smaller level accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To identify queries and issues in payment collection, record and progress and chase
• Ensure all deductions are recorded and action to investigate and resolve are initiated
• Proactively look for signs of insolvency and/or potential risk and advise team leader
• Review and follow up on problems such as disputed or overdue balances
• Review ageing balances of your customers to identify slow or problem accounts
• Ensure that relevant sales team are aware of status of customer receivables
• Ensure that statements and other prompts for payment are issued on a timely basis
• Support team priorities and initiatives, to ensure workloads are effectively managed
• Review credit blocked orders and advise senior credit controller to ensure resolution
CANDIDATE PROFILE
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to A' level standard or equivalent and have good communication skills and telephone manner.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
• Experience in a customer contact role is beneficial
• Strong Word and Excel skills will be beneficial
• Knowledge of SAP desirable
• Basic understanding of receivables/payables would be desirable
• Detail conscious
LANGUAGES
Fluent English and Italian essential, good working knowledge of one of the following languages desirable: French, German, Swiss German, Portuguese, Spanish, Flemish, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish.
