Established in 1964, the African Development Bank is the premier pan-African development institution fostering economic growth and social progress in Africa. The Bank's primary goal is to reduce poverty and improve living standards by mobilizing resources in and outside Africa and providing financial and technical assistance for development projects and programs in Africa. The ADB has a total of 78 member states comprising 53 regional (African) and 25 non-regional countries.
The ADB currently has the following vacancies:
Senior Editors, French language (ADB/08/115) & English language (ADB/08/116)
Edit the Bank’s documents on a wide range of policy, social, technical issues, legal and financial texts. Ensure that materials adhere to established editorial standards and that they conform to the practice of the Bank including a correct usage of phraseology, terminology and style for different audiences. Verify facts, figures, and references through research, reference sources and consultation. Provide authors with information on specific aspects of editorial policy and practice. Assist authors in the preparation of manuscripts.
